The South American Green Infrastructure Union (SAGIU) is a sovereign-led development alliance dedicated to transforming South and Latin America into the world’s most advanced, self-sufficient, and sustainable economic bloc by 2035. Established as a unifying institutional framework, SAGIU brings together member nations to co-develop green infrastructure, digital industry, defense sovereignty, and clean energy networks under one continental vision — “Vision 2035: The Triple Crown of Sovereignty.”
Headquartered in Panama, SAGIU functions as both a sovereign coordination body and an investment architecture, aligning national priorities around shared prosperity, climate resilience, and regional independence. Through its flagship Sovereign Green Investment Bank (SGIB), the Union finances large-scale railways, ports, energy corridors, AI manufacturing zones, and data infrastructure that form the backbone of a new sovereign economy — built by Latin America, for Latin America.
At the heart of SAGIU’s mission lies a belief that sovereignty is not isolation, but self-determination through collective strength. Each member state retains full autonomy while contributing to a unified framework that leverages shared resources, talent, and technology to achieve continental transformation. This union represents a declaration of independence from external dependency, and a new era of cooperative sovereignty anchored in sustainability, innovation, and inclusion.
“Sovereignty is not isolation; it is self-determination through collective strength.”

— Dion Davis, Fundador y presidente ejecutivo, SAGIU

The South American Green Infrastructure Union (SAGIU) chose to anchor its megaprojects in South and Latin America because this region embodies the future of sovereign development. It is the world’s most resource-rich, yet under-realized continent—poised to lead the next industrial and energy revolution without foreign debt or dependency. SAGIU’s mission is simple: turn sovereignty into infrastructure, and infrastructure into lasting prosperity for every nation across the Americas.
South and Latin America together hold a strategic abundance of natural wealth: rare earths, lithium, copper, bauxite, nickel, and iron ore—each vital to global AI, semiconductor, and EV supply chains. Coupled with unmatched renewable capacity—hydro, solar, wind, geothermal—these nations form the green energy backbone of the 21st century. Through SAGIU’s sovereign self-financing model and the SAGIU Green Investment Bank (SGIB), the region can industrialize without external loans or conditional financing, ensuring that every megawatt and every ton mined remains under continental ownership.
Geographically, the Americas represent the nexus of global trade and connectivity—linking the Pacific and Atlantic, the North and South, and the Americas with Asia-Pacific and Europe. By developing ports, canals, smart rail networks, and digital corridors under the SAGIU-T (Trans-Latin Transport Network), the Union transforms this geography into a living trade spine—a new Silk Road of the Americas powered by renewable energy and AI logistics.
The continent’s 660 million citizens are its greatest natural resource. SAGIU’s Sovereign Skills Academy (SSA) is designed to convert this demographic strength into industrial power—training engineers, builders, coders, and innovators to construct their own future. This is not charity; it is continental empowerment through education, technology, and self-reliance.
For too long, external lenders defined the destiny of Latin nations. SAGIU replaces dependency with collective self-determination. By linking sovereign governments through treaties, charters, and the SGIB, the Union creates a financial and industrial ecosystem that protects assets, accelerates growth, and safeguards sovereignty. Each project—from green ports to semiconductor cities—embodies the principle of 'Sovereignty First.'
As the world races toward decarbonization, SAGIU positions South and Latin America as the world’s clean-energy and green-manufacturing hub—turning natural wealth into refined, tokenized, and export-ready value chains. This is the continent’s moment to shift from resource exporter to technology producer, anchoring the global green transition within its own borders.
“SAGIU chose Latin America because this land still breathes with untamed potential. It needs only unity, structure, and faith in its own power to rise.
Sovereignty is not inherited—it is built.”
